E-PPR – e-Learning modules

The project has developed four e-learning modules: one for primary school children, one for secondary school students, one for adults and one for professional disaster responders. Each e-learning module is tailored to the specific needs of its target group and covers the prevention, preparedness and response to four types of natural disasters: floods, storms, heat waves and wildfires.

The transnational study concerns the training needs of teachers and students on prevention and response to the emergencies most likely to occur in EU schools.

The project has led to the development of four e-learning modules: one for primary school children, one for secondary school students, one for adults and one for professional disaster responders.

Each e-learning module is tailored to the specific needs of its target group and covers the prevention, preparedness and response to four types of natural disasters: floods, storms, heat waves and wildfires.

The e-learning platform contains the following e-learning modules:

  • e-learning module for primary school children
  • e-learning module for secondary school students
  • e-learning module for adults (members of the general public)
  • e-learning module for professionals from fire and rescue services

Each module contains educational content tailored to each target group and is divided into four units: floods, storms, heat waves, and wildfires. Each unit is divided into three parts: prevention, preparedness, and response.

The e-learning modules are available in six European languages: Danish, English, Estonian, Lithuanian, Romanian and Spanish. They can be accessed for free.
