Climate change is one of the major global problems of our time, which can only be solved together. Non-school climate education plays an important role in this context. Under the motto “Learning from each other together”, 16 extracurricular German educational institutions have set up a common agenda on the topic. Together they form a nationwide network that reflects the diversity of climate education activities.
The initiative has collected selected good practices and educational offers for climate education programmes. The various educational offers are sorted by age group and school level, but the transition is often fluid.
There are numerous projects dealing with nutrition issues, e.g.:
- Primary school: cookbook “I cook – star cooks for the climate“
- Secondary level 1: Foodture card set: “Our food and the climate“
- Secondary level II: “The climate breakfast – climate protection on everyone’s lips”
